- 2026-05-29: **v1.2 published** — pause rule validated (pause on first layer of new color = (boundary plate-Z / 0.2) + 1), per-file paint_color verification protocol added after Blue Jays prior-attempt failure on inherited mapping, tier-order tradeoff documented (lighter-on-top vs darker-on-top), method scope clarified (works on nesting designs; breaks down side-by-side), method chain-of-custody captured, Blue Jays + Celtics added as worked examples. Bumped after Blue Jays print success 2026-05-28; Celtics example marked validation-pending until print completes.
